Tich is Psychological Practitioner and Hypnotherapist; Counsellor in training at Ashurst Associates Consultancy UK Ltd. He has a background in therapeutic residential services at the level of Deputy Manager. He holds a Diploma in hypnotherapy and is in his final year of the professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling.
His current role entails collaboratively carrying out holistic assessments and trauma responsive interventions within residential and supported living services for children, young people and adults who present with serious emotional, behavioural or social difficulties, learning difficulties, victims of child sexual abuse, mental health difficulties, and psychiatric disorders. In addition, he co-works holistic assessments and delivers trauma responsive interventions to children and young people who present with persistent or serious antisocial and criminal behaviour, including interpersonal violence, fire setting, harmful sexual behaviour, have been sexually exploited or those at risk of child sexual exploitation.
He is a Master trainer in the Ashurst Mastery Model of Care for practitioners working in the field of trauma informed therapeutic services. In addition, he provides clinical consultations to homes managers and therapeutic care workers, facilitates post incident debriefs and reflective practice sessions.
